The food was amazing! I got the brisket sandwich combo with the hatch mac n cheese. I tried all the sauces and I was not disappointed in the least. Hot, fresh, fast, and juicy. Restaurant is clean and atmosphere was pleasantly sociable. Hands down will stop here anytime I come through Texas. As the shirt says- damn good bbq!

We visited this location & we very pleased with the food. It was different from the Arlington location. The birria tacos were better here in Mansfield, but the Texas twinkie was stuffed with pimento cheese instead of cream cheese which was different. The sauces were on the table and my fav was Aztec gold. I would also recommend the food be more hot as it was luke warm.

This place has what I have been looking for in Texas BBQ. 3 meat platter (pulled pork, pork belly burnt ends, brisket slice). Sides Mac n cheese(best seller) & Brisket Baked beans(best seller). Dessert tres leches banana pudding absolutely my favorite. Each serving was very delicious, tender, flavorful, on its own I did try there house sauces my favorite was the Aztec gold. Second favorite was the sweet & spicy (mild). The peach habanero was good but not my go-to. The atmosphere was cozy small town feel. Staff was excellent. Portions are good size (come hungry). If you want some true Texas BBQ this place would be at the top of your list.The photos don't do it justice.

I'm glad I stopped at Hurtados today. I'm from San Benito, TX doing some work in the area. I always try to eat bbq for lunch on work trips. The food here is delicious. The brisket is moist, tender, and has an awesome smoke flavor. The pork burnt ends were very tasty, including the beans, sausage and cabbage. I give this place a huge 10!!
