FORT WORTH BBQ and Breakfast Tacos on 8th Avenue

The food was delicious! I highly recommend this place. Demi made some amazing suggestions. We ordered all. The screened porch was perfect for an outdoor dining experience. Thank you so much. BTW you have to have the Tres Leche Banana Pudding that’s A SMACK YOUR MOMMA GOOD 😊 😂😉

Found this place on Google and it had some good reviews. Have to say not bad. Got the Texas Trinity, very good! It has a combo of brisket, ribs and sausage.Loved the brisket and ribs! Falling of the bone! The ribs were so tender. Also really loved the sausage. One of the plates had a cheese sausage OMG! So good! The other plate had the regular sausage, still amazing! The sides were good as well. The street corn was good, the Mac n cheese good and the potato salad had a little kick that hit just right! Now if you are thinking of sharing the Texas Trinity, only if you are not that hungry. Get your own! You will eat it all! Also recommend taking a bite of everything while it is still hot/warm, the juices make the flavors pop!

Came to the famous Hurtado BBQ for the first time for a quick lunch and boy was this good! I ordered the two meat plate with their brisket and pork belly/bacon burnt ends. Brisket was delicious and I got a huge slice! The pork belly burnt ends was so good and so tender! They had 3 bbq sauces to try (sorry I forgot the names of them but was a gold one, sweet n spicy one, and a habanero sweet one). The gold one and the habanero were very good! Made a little sandwhich and this plate was the perfect portion for a lunch. The Mac n cheese was also great but man that tater tot casserole was on another level! Overall it was great and the price was not too bad ~ normal pricing for a bbq plate. I am gonna go back on a weekend when I am free to try their big red barbacoa and quail! Also the service was phenomenal! Everyone was super super friendly and made me feel very welcomed! Definitely will be back again regularly!

We were visiting from out of town and in the mood for barbecue. Everything we ordered was fantastic! The brisket tostada is a must, and I also really enjoyed the Texas Twinkie stuffed jalapeño. My husband raved about his burnt ends and brisket. Lesly, Noah, Carlos and Sid will take good care of you. Seriously, go now for the brisket tostada. 😋

If happiness had a flavor, it’d be this birria taco. I took one bite and immediately understood why people rave about Hurtado’s. The tortilla had the perfect texture, the meat was ridiculously tender, the consommé was packed with flavor, and every bite just kept getting better. I was over here making involuntary happy noises in public. This taco is so damn good it’d make a vegetarian stop and reconsider their life choices. If someone tried to steal the last one off my plate, we’d both be making poor decisions. Hands down the best birria taco I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and order it. Your taste buds will send you a thank-you card.
