MANSFIELD BBQ Restaurant on Walnut Creek Drive

All I can I say is WOW! I’m from California and iv heard about this place and have been wanting to try it out! Came out to visit my family and took them to the Mansfield location. Travis is awesome!!! Gave me a tour of Pits before our monster of a platter blessed our tastebuds. Moe the pitmaster absolutely nailed it!!! We ordered the el capo platter along with some Texas twinkies and some corn bread. The brisket literally fell apart and the fat melted beautifully in our mouths. The smoke flavor was perfect on all the meats especially the sausage. Iv found that at times sausage can hold a heavy smoke flavor maybe a little too Smokey but this was perfection. Perfectly spiced and juicy! The turkey was moist, the pulled pork was delicious and all the sides were amazing! Whatever you do.. do not pass up trying the birria tacos!! Yes tacos! At a bbq joint.. say less, I was all in and again, no disappointment. If you want to try out a different style of BBQ still holding holding the Smokey flavors but also with some Tex mex, this is the place. The food and service will not let you down!!! Thank you guys for filling my belly and bringing joy to a foodies like me!

Why does my new favorite bbq spot have to be 50 mins away from me?? Had a great experience ordering and then I was hooked from my first bite! I ordered 3 meats and 2 sides for $30. I got BOMB pork ribs and delicious tender brisket- loved the bark flavor! Mexican corn and Mac n cheese was good too! But the banana puuudddddiiing??! The service… great! The food… amazing!! But the banana pudding was soooooooooo freakin good!!!! Best I’ve had! By the way. The staff was sooo awesome and friendly! Like I said. New favorite bbq spot!

Here in TX delicious BBQ isn’t really hard to come across. Consistently delicious BBQ is another story. This place is consistently delicious. Not very many places can impress me with lean brisket. This location does! The ribs were perfect also. I’m simple when it comes to my pickles and onions and they are exactly why I want here. The cabbage I expected to like but I loved it. Delicious. The beans also delicious here.

We went for lunch. We had the brisket tostada, The Birria taco, the Texas Twinkie and the Mexican cornbread. All of it was excellent and the service was even better. It was really busy, but we didn't have a problem finding a seat. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This place has what I have been looking for in Texas BBQ. 3 meat platter (pulled pork, pork belly burnt ends, brisket slice). Sides Mac n cheese(best seller) & Brisket Baked beans(best seller). Dessert tres leches banana pudding absolutely my favorite. Each serving was very delicious, tender, flavorful, on its own I did try there house sauces my favorite was the Aztec gold. Second favorite was the sweet & spicy (mild). The peach habanero was good but not my go-to. The atmosphere was cozy small town feel. Staff was excellent. Portions are good size (come hungry). If you want some true Texas BBQ this place would be at the top of your list.The photos don't do it justice.
