⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hurtado Barbecue by the Dallas Farmers Market was absolutely incredible! The barbecue was hands-down some of the best we’ve ever had, and the queso was out of this world. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and vibe that made the whole experience even better. From the food to the service to the overall ambiance, everything exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back and try even more from the menu. Highly recommend!

The food over all was good. The chicken was dry and the burnt ends were tough. The ribs and brisket were really good. I liked all the sides. I also got the beans but I assumed they would be BBQ baked beans but it was more like a charro beans. Thats my fault I should asked more questions. The bacon ranch potato salad was and the hatch chili Mac and cheese was absolutely awesome. The Mexican corn was good as well. I felt the price point was high for the amount of meat that you get.

I absolutely loved the BBQ amd sides here. Everything was meticulously prepared with care and presented beautifully. The space overall was immaculately clean and every staff member was friendly, engaged with the patrons and the overall vibe was great. Would highly recommend the smoked turkey and lean brisket it was fall apart tender and cooked perfectly. I was beyond impressed! A must!

Loved it all. I’m a chef in 30a Florida, and I have been so excited to have bbq. I wasn’t sure if I wanted Mexican or BBQ for my first meal in Ft. Worth!! CHEFS KISS to this place!!! If I could give it more stars I would. Great price. Great atmosphere, great flavors. Great all around. Waited less than 5 minutes for food. Everyone loved it.

Hurtado Barbecue We visited Hurtado Barbecue today in Dallas and honestly, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the very first interaction, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful with our order. We chose a combo that was supposed to serve 6 to 8 people — we had more than 10 adults plus kids, everyone ate very well, and we still took food home. That alone says a lot. The food quality is incredible. Perfectly cooked meats, amazing flavor, well-balanced seasoning, and fast service. After a few days traveling around Texas, this was the place where we truly felt we were eating real Texas barbecue. The environment also deserves special mention. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and well organized. The restrooms were spotless, and the men’s bathroom even had a baby changing station, which is a huge plus for families with children. Small details like that make a big difference. We were a group of about 12 family members, and everyone was impressed. Now heading back to Boston, we already know we’ll miss this place. Hurtado Barbecue isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a full experience. Highly recommended and absolutely unforgettable.
